Here we are at Friday. Whew, what a week! It’s kind of been a long one. I just want to say thank you for those who reached out about the managing expectations post. I am so grateful and consider it a blessing when I hear feedback from you!
As for today, it’s been a while since I’ve posted Friday Favorites, so I thought I’d give it a go.
- Trick or Treating
I still can’t get over how absolutely adorable the girls looked in their Halloween Costumes. We had about 30 minutes pre- trick or treating where I didn’t think we would actually get the costume on Maven, so I was thrilled when we got out of the house with two pink piggies. And as for all the candy in our house? Oink oink! ?
- Toothbrushes
Sylvie’s new favorite past time is brushing her teeth. She screetches for her toothbrush and surely looks like a big girl when she’s using it. Where did my baby go?! These girls were being too quiet the other morning, so they had me a little worried. Come to find out, they were just casually sitting in the hallway brushing their teeth. ☺️
3. Old Navy
Both girls have grown significantly in the past couple of months requiring a whole new wardrobe for the cooler weather arriving. I just have to sing some praises to Old Navy because they always have the cutest items at affordable prices. And hello clearance racks! Not to mention, Old Navy has the best socks for kids. I swear by them.
As always, we’ve had low points and high points in our week, but we always move forward and try to always choose joy. Looking ahead, we will be celebrating Sylvie’s birthday with family and friends tomorrow and I am so excited. We’ve been gambling on an outdoor birthday party and it looks like the weather may just hold out in our favor.
