Earlier this week I shared about how we make each of our babies feel special, and I am so excited because we are starting to get a few brand new items for our sweet babe on the way. {Isn’t there something so exciting about receiving packages in the mail? So many deliveries lately! Online shopper over here.}

Even with Sylvie, I started buying her a few new things before she was born because I wanted her to have some of her own items with a different style than Maven of sorts, so I’m following those footsteps again and starting this for baby number three. It is a little different this time around since everything is gender neutral, but I have to say, there is an added element of fun to it all because of that!

I was incredibly excited to get this Freshly Picked moccasin in this color (Zion) for our new babe. You see, I have this secret obsession with putting shoes on my little ones because it just completes an outfit, but I have to say, it’s not always easy to find the right ones. I don’t want to be squishing their baby feet in the shoe, be required to tie anything or constantly grabbing for shoes that have fallen off. I swear I’ve left a few shoes in parking lots my first go-around because they just slipped right off those wiggly little feet. Some mamas may choose to just forget it because of the hassle, but me? I like the look + was determined to find a solution. ☺️

 

The Freshly Picked Moccasin – A Family Favorite

After our first pair, I quickly discovered that this shoe was a favorite – not only for me, but for my kiddos too. The soft soles and comfort of style + shape make them dreamy on a little one’s feet. Most of the time my girls would cry if I put their feet in anything that was restrictive, but never once fussed at this mocc.

True story: Soon after we master the shoe with the outfit phase of baby life, we enter the phase of life where said children like to TAKE OFF THEIR SHOES EVERY TIME YOU GET IN THE CAR. Lemme just tell you that gets old REAL fast. But, here I am, still a happy momma, because I learned my lesson the second time around. I cannot even scoff at putting these moccasins on over and over again because they literally just slide on and off. Sylvie had nothing on me.
